Human Interface Designer

Shape how people understand and trust AI — from the first impression of a marketing page to the moment a regulator reads a decision and nods.

  • Full-time

About the role

Trust is a design problem before it’s a technical one. As a Human Interface Designer, you’ll define how Neuralcraft looks, feels, and explains itself — across product, brand, and the visual language we use to make model behaviour legible to clinicians, auditors, and analysts alike.

You’ll own the end-to-end design craft: research, flows, interface, and the systems that keep it consistent. You won’t be handing off static mocks into a void — you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with design engineers to see your work shipped at full fidelity.

What you’ll do

  • Own product and brand design from concept to polished interface across web and product surfaces.
  • Design the patterns that make explainable AI understandable — how evidence, lineage, and “why” are shown.
  • Build and evolve our design system: typography, color, components, and motion principles.
  • Run lightweight research and usability testing with the people who actually use these systems.
  • Partner with engineering to ship pixel-accurate, accessible interfaces.
  • Set and defend the bar for craft and clarity across everything users encounter.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of product/interface design with a portfolio that shows range and depth.
  • Mastery of the fundamentals — typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and interaction.
  • Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces (dashboards, tooling, or technical products).
  • Systems thinking: you design components and rules, not just screens.
  • Strong communication — you can explain why a design decision is the right one.

Bonus points

  • Comfort prototyping with motion, or designing close to code.
  • Experience in regulated, technical, or enterprise domains.
  • A point of view on how to make AI trustworthy through design.

Why Neuralcraft

You’ll define the face of a company building AI for the world’s most consequential work — with the ownership to shape it end to end and a team that treats design as core, not decoration.
